Integrating renewable energy into legacy power grids is one of the toughest software and hardware challenges of our generation. When we started VoltGrid, solar energy wastage due to grid curtailment was a huge bottleneck. We built an AI-driven predictive algorithm to balance battery storage with real-time grid demand. Pitching this to traditional power distribution companies was tough, but our pilot project saved a commercial park 22% on energy costs in 60 days.
